It’s so shallow in parts that you can walk out hundreds of feet. Paraiso’s name is well deserved. It maintained in a natural state as a part of nature preserve. There are no hotels, only small snack bars and a modest nautical center, so this is the perfect place for relaxation. You can enjoy in wind surfing and sailing in your own slice of paradise. The only sign of civilization is a palapa bar that serves rum and cigars, so kick back and soak up some Caribbean sun!

Valle de Vinales

Valle de Vinales

Vinales is a beautiful and lush valley in Pinar del Río province of Cuba. It’s encircled by mountains and its landscape is interspersed with rocky outcrops. Tobacco and other crops are cultivated on the bottom of the valley mostly by traditional techniques. The red farmland and unique microclimate produce the best cigars in the world. This cultural landscape is illustrating the cultural development of Cuba. Vinales is a destination that offers hiking and rock climbing. Also many endemic plants and animals are specific to this valley. It’s said to be Fidel Castro’s favourite place in Cuba. Cuba was once covered by limestone that eroded away, leaving mountains with steep sides. Those mountains now have gorgeous caves or haystacks.
