Comino and the Blue Lagoon
Comino is an island of the Maltese archipelago between the islands of Malta and Gozo. It consists of cliffs, two small white sand beaches, coves, creeks and is a bird sanctuary and nature reserve. Comino is the perfect place to relax and revive. It’s car - free, uninhabited but ideal for walkers and photographers. Comino’s main attraction is the Blue Lagoon located between Comino and its even tinier offshoot island Cominotto. It is a paradise for snorkelers, divers and windsurfers who can enjoy in the crystal-clear waters above white sands. Surrounded by rock and a bit of sand, it’s almost like a pool with turquoise waters. It is idyllic for families with small children because of its shallow warm lagoon.
